When did The Seekers first perform together?
Judith met Athol on the first day she started work as a secretary at the J. Walter Thompson advertising agency, where Athol was working as an account executive. Athol knew of Judith as a jazz singer, and invited her to sit in with he and his mates Keith Potger and Bruce Woodley, who performed together as The Seekers. The venue was the Treble Clef, in Toorak Road, South Yarra. The date was Monday, December 3, 1962.

In 1963 The Seekers recorded two singles (four sides) and one LP (Introducing The Seekers) for W&G Records in Melbourne. Once they were signed by EMI in the UK in 1964, a deal was struck with W&G to release their World Record Club and early EMI recordings through W&G in Australia and New Zealand.
